Stephen Frank Wasley (1848 - 1934). Landscapes, coastal and marine in oil, watercolour and charcoal. Born in London but lived in Whitby at his studio. Yorkshire coastline and Venetian Lagoons were his favoured subjects. Noted in particular for his Turneresque style. He exhibited at LON, MI, NW, RA, RO, YO.
