Richardson - Charles Richardson (1829 - 1908)

Charles Richardson (1829 - 1908). Landscape and Seascape painter in oil and watercolour. Born in Newcastle. Son of T.M.Richardson Snr. He practised as a professional artist and drawing master in Newcastle after receiving tuition by his father and possibly his elder brother, Henry Burdon Richardson. Exhibited extensivly in Newcastle and at the Suffolk Street Gallery, London. He regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1856 to 1901 showing some 28 works.
