Thomas Sword Good (1789-1872)

A portrait, genre and landscape painter in oil and watercolour. Born in Berwick Good moved to London where he exhibited regularly  at the Royal Academy and British Institution. He also exhibited at the RSA, the Suffolk Street Gallery, the Carlisle Academy and in Newcastle. His works can be seen in many museums and galleries including the National Portrait Gallery, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, the V&A, the Tate Gallery, the Laing Gallery and many others.
