John Hepple - John Wilson Hepple (1886 - 1939). Amateur landscape artist in oil and watercolour. Son of Wilson Hepple. John was born at Whickham. Although not a full time artist, as he chose teaching as a profession, he exhibited regularly in the North East mainly at the Artists of the Northern Counties exhibitions at the Laing Gallery.
